Rules for Bowling Side

Maximum any 2 bowlers can bowl double overs. Means, minimum 6 bowlers to bowl.

Minimum 1 over must be bowled by performer, throughout the tournament.

Incase you have 2 performer bowlers (P1 and P2), then it's compulsory to alternate between them. If first match P1 will bowl then second match P2 will bowl, and so on. P1 cannot bowl again till P2 is used in next match even if for atleast 1 ball. Applicable for league stage only. After the league stage any 1 performer bowler can be used.

If you have 7 bowlers in your team (2 icon, 4 classic, 1 performer). Option 1 is to use all 7 bowlers, resulting in 1 double and 6 singles. Or if you want to use only 6 bowlers only through 2 doubles and 4 singles - in this case you will end up skipping one particular bowler. This skipped bowler cannot be skipped for rest of the matches of league stage. After league stage any 6 can be used. (Minimum 1 performer bowler rule still applicable)

(This is similar to old rule of rotation, where if one players is rested, cannot rest again for other league matches)

Similarly for those who have more than 6 bowlers in squad : In a particular match if you skip a particular bowler then same bowler cannot be skipped again in league stage (except when that extra bowler is performer bowler, in that case P1 and P2 rule applies)

Openers cannot be voluntarily retired till minimum 2 overs, as that will be against spirit of game.

It is compulsory to set 3 fielders on the off and 3 fielders on leg side.

Over stepping (full foot outside line) = No Ball. 1 Run. Free hit.

A full toss ball above waist height = No Ball. 1 Run. Free hit.

Wide = 1 run

Maximum 1 Bouncer per over is allowed (above shoulder but below head). Above head level would be wide ball unless batsman connects the ball with bat or gloves holding the bat.

2nd bouncer of the over above shoulder height will be declared a no ball

During an overthrow only running runs will be considered. If the overthrow goes outside the fence or hits the soft net, then maximum 2 additional runs will be declared to the batting side.
